Gallien-Krueger Neo IV 2x12 cab

I want this cab. I also use an 800RB (88). Let me know how loud this is as a stand alone and if you can hear it will without having to tilt up or put on a stand.
You can always get another small cab and connect it to the 100 watt section too.

I have an older Neo 212 8ohm, and I can hear it in loud rooms with heads that are a lot less powerful than an 800 RB

Nice cab! Was there ever a neo III? Seems like they jumped from II to IV.

I have the Neo III. It might be more of a boxy diagonal shape than the Neo II?

I am in agreement with you on that point. I purchased a Fusion 800 212 combo last summer with a 212 extension cab. I have owned all sorts of different GK set ups in the past. In fact, my profile pic shows a 2001 with a 410RB and 115RB cab I ran 13 years ago. The Fusion 800 rig with the Neo IV cabs is easily my favorite set up of all that I have owned. They have really hit it out of the park with this line.
I also have the fusion 800 212 combo. I was thinking about getting the extension cabinet. Am I just remembering things wrong, or were they supposed to come out with a powered extension cabinet for the fusion combos question?

I wouldn't think they would be bringing back the powered cabs, but those were for the MBP amps anyway.

Your Fusion combo has a jack for powering an external cabinet, so a powered cabinet is not needed.

I have the same cab and yeah, it's plenty loud.
