One of these puts out a lot of sound. I can't imagine the headroom a stack of two has.

I use a two cab Neo 112 II set up on occasion. IMO GK really hit the magic formula for speaker and cab design in terms of delivering way above typical expectations, even outdoors. I'd bet the new version 12" loaded cabs are even more impressive.
A 412 arrangement (regardless of how you get there) would more than handle anything I could ever imagine doing with capability to spare.

Here's mine. +1 to Smooth, yet punchy and can handle volume.
I used it today at band practice. We're rehearsing for a show coming up and decided to pull the IEMs out and play loud and live in the room. Cab sounded wonderful, kept up with loud drums and two guitars no prob. I'm still messing with the Mids/Highs on the 800rb. I usually run them straight up at noon but this cab has a bit more top and mid range, even with tweeter off so I'll be turning those down.
Great cab, great value, nice look. Very happy with my purchase. Coming from a few other high end 212s and my Ampeg 610, this cab handles the loud low end fine.

I am contemplating upgrading to 2 Neo 212s. Would love to have your (TonyP and others) advice/opinion. Amp is a 1001RB-II.
Upside, the Neo 212-IV are new and seem killer. downside, they are difficult to get here in Europe, backorder seems to be 2-3 months.
I am hesitating between waiting, or looking for a pair of used/old stock Neo 212-II.

2-3 months is not to bad of a wait...
You will probably have more gigs by then come the spring.
My suggestion is, if you can hang for a while it's worth the wait.

I don't understand... the price is actually cheaper for you, 899€ in Germany and 899 CHF (~860 €) with free shipping to Switzerland.
Thomann will handle all warranty issues with a Thomann 3 years warranty. Lead time is average compared to others.
I'm sorry, I missed your reply. I meant that the prices of most gear at Thomann is more expensive by ~15-25% than swiss music retailers (especially stuff like cabs, amps, etc., less for pedals or strings). So if GK was distributed, the cabs would be cheaper than 899CHF in Switzerland. And with the warranty thing, I meant they don't offer the returns shipping costs, so you have to pay expensive shipping costs to Germany to return an item, whereas within Switzerland they usually are paid for by the retailer. Hopefully, you never have an issue but it's something to take into consideration and added to the more expensive price, it really is not a good deal to by a cab from them when you're in Switzerland...
I see your concerns. No idea why GK hasn't got a distributor in Switzerland - maybe the market is just too small? Only @rag will be able to tell you.
Other than that, I find the GK price/value quite attractive - especially comparing to other US competitors whose prices are IMHO quite over the top .....
yeah no clue. They did... the distributor is still listed on the GK page even.. but GK is not in their brand list anymore and I had retailers call them to double check. They were still distributed until at least 2 years ago, I was about to buy the Neo 212-II cabs, but put it on hold due to the covid outbreak
I played a Christmas gig and a friend sent me a pretty decent sounding video. You can really hear the cab and old 800RB shine. Definitely listen through a soundbar, headphones, or some good speakers.

How does it compare to the Darkglass 2x12 I read you got too? why this change?
I have a second smaller set with the DG alpha/omega 500 on dg112n.. don't know..something's missing, like a lack of dynamic, too tamed. A Neo 2x10 would change this?
I sold the DG212, the GK Neo 212 had more warmth and just even tone. The DG cab was a really nice cab, it just had a lot of mids. If I could afford to have both, I would've kept it.
Thanks for posting. I was also curious how the DG212 compared. A more even tone you don't have to fight with is a good starting point. I do wish the GK cab had the inset dish handles. They are much more comfortable to carry.
