Mystery Carlsbro Stingray Bass Head

Hello, I have acquired a Carlsbro Stingray Bass Head with the serial number 066263. I was wondering if anyone could tell be about it ; year, output etc?

Stingray. 150 watts.
Used one for a long time.
Sounded best through an HH 2x15.
Volume pot wore out and I couldn't get a replacement 470 ohm pot so I put a 47 ohm pot in it.
Best fuzz/distortion I ever had.
If I could find another one I'd grab it quick-sharp.
Rock it dude, it likes to go loud.

Bit of a resurrection but, as mentioned, these are from the early 80s. I got mine new in around 1982 and still have it. They're 150w (RMS, I believe) into 4 ohms, around 105w into 8 ohms. I have a bit more info somewhere, including a schematic of the pre-amp section showing details of the band pass filters, with frequencies they're set at, I think. If you're still interested, I'll dig it out.

If you could dig them out still that would be amazing! Documentation and data sheets appears to be completely non-existent for these on the web :’(

I owned one of these amps for about 6 weeks in the 1970's and it was the biggest pile of sh@te I have ever wasted my money on. I soon came to my senses and quickly traded it in for an superb all valve Orange 120 bass amp! Sorry to disappoint

One thing I should've pointed out is that, in the schematics pdf, the bottom one is for the 300w power module. The normal Stingray Bass amp uses the 150w power module. There was, as far as I can remember, a Stingray Bass Pro, which was 300w, but I'm relatively sure that had a different pre-amp section, with no band pass filters and 2 channels.

This is the Pro Stingray, twin channel with parametric eq. Great amps, almost indestructible and the most reliable amps of the 70-90s.
