Mystery speaker

I was on CL today and found a $35 bass cab made by Miller Sound Productions. Asked the seller a few questions about the speaker that was in it.
He took a picture and I have no idea who made the speaker. Any ideas? I'm getting it for the practice room and won't be gigging with it. Thanks in advance.

If it's a 15", it will be either an EVM-15L or B. The B has a smooth cone and the 15L has 5(?) rings molded into the paper.

Be sure it works, but factory recone kits are still available.

I used to gig some time with two 215, both loaded with EVM 15 L. A hell of all speaker, no need of a tweeters. Nice high mids that cut through real good.

It is a perfect match with GK-amps, my 215" got fired up by a GK 800 RB, one for each cab. Great sound, no problems together with 4 Marshall full stacks.

Sold all the stuff when the band broke up, but I often listen to the old records, still amazed of the sound we had.

I think that the Mesa Road Ready 215" had the speaker inside.

I saw the same unbelievable ad on CL. $35?!? I Googled Miller Sound Productions and this page was the only thing that came up. I have an EV 15B speaker that this cab was made for and I was pretty disappointed to see that it was sold, as I've been looking for an affordable one for a while. Then I checked CL again and it was still listed after 5 days. So I made a quick 140 mile round-trip run to pick it up. Sorry, you snooze, you loose.

It's a clone of the EV TL606 / Mesa cab that was designed for the EV 15 speaker. It's in great shape, save for a few scrapes in the tolex on the back. Solid construction. And the included speaker is in perfect shape, so I didn't need to use my spare. Even the casters work. It's a perfect match for my Mesa/Boogie Diesel. I'm using it for Reggae, so all I need is a big round bottom.

And, they both fit in my small car. A 2x15 wouldn't. They weigh about 50lbs. each, and that's a piece of cake compared to the 4x10 I was using.

Still can't find anything on Miller Sound Productions, though. The serial number is 28, so there might be at least 27 more of these floating around.

How the heck does a $35 EV cab last for 5 days on CL in California? Crazy.

I almost had a $50 Peavey 4x12 a few weeks ago but I had to wait like a day to get paid and then the guy stopped responding and then the ad disappeared a few days later. Boo.

There is/was a Stanley Miller that was involved with live audio, that would make that cabinet a compact "sub" or low frequency component in an older component PA.

If it said "Mesa" on the grille, it would have been gone in seconds. I guess no one, including the owner, knew what it was. I've had TL606's on the brain for weeks and I recognized it right away. I was about to build one myself and I figured if it was in bad shape I could use the parts.
