Haven't posted in a while, but have to. After weeks of scouring Craigslist for a 4 ohm cab to fit my bill, a posting hit my eye today. Am Peg bass head 300 watt, 4 x 10 speaker, 1 x 15 speaker. I shall, for the moment, leave the price asked blank. I inquired via e-mail which head it was (secretly praying the answer was some variant of SVT). I received a reply this afternoon that it was an SVT Classic, with matching SVT Classic cabs. The lady in question told me that her husband wasn't there to answer any questions, but that I was free to come check them out. I IMMEDIATELY got in the van and drove over. I am now the proud owner of a St. Louis Music era SVT Classic head, with the aforementioned matching 4 x10 and 1 x 15 cabs. I asked the lady, I'm guessing mid-60's why her husband was selling all of his gear, and she said that he had been playing in bands for 30 years and was just tired of the lifestyle. I will now let the guesses begin on what I paid for the entire rig. I will post a picture as soon as I get a correct guess.

WEbtroll, you are absolutely right on. You win.......the right to gloat. 5 bills for the Rig I have wanted since I was a wee-lad. Now to sell my old rig and come out making money on this deal.
