So i have read a hole bunch of negative stuff posted on TB about mixing cabs. And i have read nothing but how big of a P. O. S the siesmic audio cabs are, well granted they are cheap, but i got the SA 210 4ohm put it ontop of my 115 black widow:mixing cabs:and a P. O. S , with my mark 6 head, and let me tell you this rig sounds very very good. Good tone good punch good volume and very clear at any volume . so dont allways be so quick to put something down untill u have tried it, just thought i would put that out their. Keep rockin

Most of us have never said that mixing cabs CAN'T work. We have said two things.

1) It's a crapshoot. So ORDERING mixed cabs, or a second cab that isn't identical to your first, CAN be a waste of money because.....
2) Sometimes it sounds like garbage.

If it works for you, fine.

No need to get a chip on your shoulder over it. Play whatever makes you grin.

Another issue is the same mixed stack can sound good one player and dookie to another. If you like the sound of one cab and need to get louder it's a golden bet to stack another same on top.

A lot of 410 on 115 users have never actually heard what the 115 is doing. They get a giant earful of a very much louder 410 and dig it immensely.

I dont have a chip on my shoulder, i was just putting, it plain and simple you can put together a sweet rig with out spending big money our using the in thing, its all about making do with what you can get and maybe breakin a few rules

The naysayers aren't wrong. Mixing cabs can sound like ass and there's a lot of science to support that. There are some very well designed mixed cab systems and some speakers with real issues when combined. Its all about finding what works for you.
And hey, if you like your cheap gear play it. Ive been on this forum for four years and have yet to see anyone say you have to spend a bajillion dollars to sound good. Quite a few guys on here are proud of their 3000$+ rigs, and just as many are proud of their 300$ rigs.
If cheap works for you I wont tell you you're wrong. And I don't know anyone on here that will.

I don't ride the same wave as the cab mixing police. However, I had an Ashdown MAG410/115 setup that I thought was amazing at the time. In retrospect, all the issues I had with the setup were attributed to being a mixed set of cabs. It's awesome that you found a set that sounds great! Certainly the exception though, not the rule.
