Here we are again; apparently I really like Eden. This WTX-264 came with the carry bag. I've been dying to try one of these for a while now. Sorry for the lackluster picture; my under-desk rig doesn't get much light.

NAD - Can't Seem to Get Away from this Brand

I'm digging that Bergantino 1x12 cabinet. I have two of those and they're amazing.
I had a WT400 for 13 years. Finally moved on as EDEN lost its reputation when Montrose assembly ended and my amp started making funny noises.
I loved it like a long term relationship but somewhere things went sour.
And now EDEN is dead. Don't kick a dead horse. Find new life.

I really miss Eden's presence. Great amps and cabinets. I would love a 2025 Minnesota made Eden stack.
WTX-264 was my first venture into class D amps. Bought cheap when Best Buy stopped selling Music Gear. Not a bad amp.
Eden Traveller 550 (or 400) are wonderful amps, still. I have two.
Nice clean tube preamp. I ignore the "Enhance" control, and the semi-parametric EQ is great, and makes it a great amp for doubling between upright and electric. And it just seems to be one of those amps where you can plug any bass into it, set it pretty flat, and it sound great.
I do bring a class D backup just in case, and I don't submit the Eden to outdoor gigs with questionable power.

I love it. It doesn't hurt that I picked it up for $200 from a guy an hour away from me. I sold my Schroeder (the Schroeder kicked ass btw) to fund something else and I'm hoping to grab another Bergantino.
The 550 is a beast for sure. I wanted to give the WTX a shot after keeping an eye out for one for a while now. Eden did indeed have the magic sauce for tone.

Love the old Eden amps! Bought and sold several, including a 300, 550, and TT 330. About 5 years ago I bought a Montrose TT390 and it's perfect for me.
The 390 / 405 is great. I had a 330 and was sad to have to sell it. The Time Travelers were in my opinion the best.
I actually sold my 550 to Georg Schroeder as a gig reference amp. I still miss it. I always keep the eq pretty flat, so I figured why not simplify with the 390. I love it. It's my main amp these days, here paired with some Bag Ends.

No worries! My thoughts exactly. The para eq is so great but I also run them flat for the most part. The 330/390/405 platform is lovely.
I bought both of mine preowned back in 2011 or 2012 at a great price. Still use 'em and love 'em. Those cabs have been to hell and back with me.
No apology needed! It was a great story and I love the way the 390 visually pairs with your Bag Ends.
Me too - totally by chance. The BE have a roll off around 46hz, so I typically keep the bass flat or even cut depending on the volume. The one thing I would change on the Eden TT is the centerpoint of the bass frequency, which on this amp is all the way down at 30hz.
