NAD: FIRST ALL-TUBE HEAD

Great find. Nothing beats the sounds of an Ampeg all-tube head, especially when using it with the Ampeg cabinet designed for it. My rehearsal rig is a '69 B25B head and a mid 1970s B25B 2x15 cabinet. I love the sound and its hard to not gig with it. But the cabinet is just too big for me to haul around, considering I'm also carrying at least half the PA system. But I get to enjoy it once a week for two or three hours.

Thanks for the feedback and notes! Next on my list before doing any major dates is to get a nice road case. I believe Ampeg cabs look better as they get beat up - but I refuse to let that be policy on the amp.

By the way, anybody know a good source for the original badges? I would like to put one back on it.

That amp wouldn't have had a badge, they weren't added to the heads until 1974(ish). Cabs and combos got the helmet "a" badges.
