NAD:Unexpected Ampeg amp

I was a huge Rumble fanboy (owned the 500) and hated the sound of the last Ampeg BA series. Went to GC yesterday fully intent on buying the Rumble 40. The RB-110 was sitting right next to it,so I figured I would see how it sounded I’m comparison to the Rumble. Long story short, ended up buying the RB instead. These actually have a lot of that old school Ampeg tone that was missing from the BA series IMO. Yamaha is off to a fantastic start with Ampeg amps.

Nice! Same thing happened to me this morning- just picked up an RB108. Seems legit!
