This beauty arrived on Thursday, but I didn't have a chance to hook it up until today. It nearly brought the house down. The drumkit rattled like there was an earthquake.
I ordered a few mods:
It's got a tuner out by the input. The two toggles beneath the Meatsmoke logo are a DI pre/power out toggle and a kill switch for the OT so I can run the pre out DI without a cab attached. I wanted to be able to tap the signal from either the preamp or the poweramp, and this is the result. On the back, there's a 1/3-switch to change between 100 and 300 watts. I also had Ben add a mute to the footswitch (one feature I love on my Aguilar). Think that's it.
I noticed some hum when using the pedal in front of it, not sure why. Ground lift didn't help. The hum is not there with the same setup on my Aguilar. Any ideas?
Rehearsal tomorrow will be earth shattering.
