We recently moved and downsized our house. Previous place had a full kitchen in the basement with a large music room. New place is smaller, and no kitchen downstairs, therefor no place to keep "beverages" cold. So...

See this is what I meant when I said I needed a fridge for band practice.

We have a 'fridge in the basement that's currently white. One of my eventual projects is to coat it with black Duratex and make a "speaker grill" for it. I even have a chrome Squier badge to put on it, provided I can actually find the badge any more. The "speaker grill" would have to be made with a wood surround and then speaker cloth stretched in the middle on another frame. TBD is whether it will have any kind of mineral wool for additional sound deadening in the grill. If this sounds like way overthinking it, you got it exactly right.
