I think one of the biggest factors was the atmosphere of the place guys. I mean I know myself that I when I play my bass it SHOULD sound good and 9 times out of ten it does.
1. The Kickdrum was mic'd.
2. Fresh Battery
3. Week old strings (which sounded as dead as the venue)
Just a nasty experience to have. As my dad once told me, you can never imagine what a gig is going to be like so never get your hopes up. Sounds tough but I learned it the hard way.
I have thought maybe it is because the Mesa isnt using its maximum 2ohm load and isnt working at optimal conditions. Hey Johnny ! what an honor to have you in my thread buddy !
Quick question that is off topic, whats the deal with the UK tour I bought tickets for the GARAGE in Glasgow and I was told it had been cancelled by ticketmaster ?
