ding! - ding! - ding! :thumbsup: specifically the late '60s Coral Deluxe Bass - formerly the early '60s Dano Dane.

I grew up in a town between the two Dano factories and they were all over around here. The kid next door had a Convertible guitar. As a teen I wanted to work at the Neptune factory but they closed before I was about to get my working papers. They can still occasionally be found at local yard sales. I found my favorite Silvertone Model 1444 at a yard sale decades ago. It came as parts in a box for $25 with a defretted neck that had been narrowed to 1.5" at the nut.
