Name That Bass !!!!!!!

Can anyone identify this bass? It appears to be a 51' P-Bass special but I cant find any documentation on it anywhere.

I don't think it's an actual '51- there's a better picture at the end of the link above... I'm guessing a custom based on the 51 or Tele Bass.

Unfortunately, the link has a great list, but I don't think it's comprehensive since nothing matching what that looks like is listed.

Fender Cowpoke and Schecter Robert DeLeo/Model T's are similar in body shape and pickup config and could probably be found a little easier than that exact model Leon played.

Could be a Nash, a Sadowsky or even a Bolingbrook custom.

Tour of the Survivors at that link shows a '54 precision. Could be one he had modded. Note the high mass bridge.
That pic is small, I thought it was a thumbnail but it didn't link to anything. Got a bigger pic?

Edit: seems he had that '54 pretty much the whole time.

This video from '74 shows him playing a similar bass, but it is stock. Perhaps the same bass, pre mods.

Thanks for your help guys. Does anyone know of the quality of the Schecter guitars? I've never owned one. The Model-T looks identical (other than an extra volume knob and headstock).
