NAMM?

I'm in LA and the weather here today was in the low 80s. You guys are gonna love it here.

Craig, I hope you make it out here safely. No storms!

Forecast now says the snow doesn't start 'til after my flight leaves! :hyper:

The next one in line is supposed to hit when I'm flying home Sunday...but if I gotta hang in California an extra day?

Thanks for the weather updates!

I'm flying out on Thursday @ noon, and hopefully us East Coaster's won't bring any Cold weather with us.

Craig, see you at our Booth. {and everyone else who is gonna be there.}

Rob

As previously mentioned, I will be there Wednesday afternoon through Sunday, late. I plan on being at J.T. Schmidt's both Thursday and Friday night for the Bass Bash.

My schedule is pretty full, but if any TBers want to try and coordinate a beer or two at J.T.'s, or some other kind of meeting, hit me with a PM and we can exchange cell phone numbers.

Laters, Tom.

I will be there friday night for sure!!! I will definitely be looking for you!!

Hey Rob...glad to see you're making the trip too this year!

Got a really early flight out tomorrow and flying into SNA, so I should be at the booth by mid-afternoon on Thursday. See you in beautiful California. And let's leave this cold behind. ;)

It's 10 degrees here btw.

I might be there Thursday afternoon/evening, but I'm planning on taking a day off work on Friday, so I'll be lurking around the booths that day, and on Friday night, so far, I've got plans to hook up with Jady, and Jay Terrien at the bass bash. I'm sure I'll see Tom there (he'll be the dude holding his camera like a purse ;)). I have no one to cruise around with on Friday, so hit me up with a PM and we'll exchange numbers. Sadly Jong (Jive1) will not be attending. He informed me that it's best for him to stay at his shop during the inauguration. Cheers! :)

While it's not exactly bass related, I'm hoping that someone can check into a product that's supposed to be shown at this years NAMM...

There's a "SOLOAmp" type of product being put out by a guy by the name of "Jack Campbell". Jack is a somewhat controversal inventor/designer who claims to have invented the SOLOAmp and sold the original design to Fishman ([Invalid or Expired Link Removed]).

He is supposed to be at this year's NAMM with his "updated and improved, yet less expensive" version, called the "BagAmp": http://www.collinsamerica.com/page2/page2.html

If he actually does show up with the BagAmp at NAMM, I'd love to get some feedback and opinions on how this compares to Fishman's SoloAmp as well as perhaps a pro/con comparison between the two. As I also play guitar, I'm thinking one or two of these might be a good option for the occasional small acoustic "coffee house" type gig.

Thanks,

- Ugly.

Hey Rob, i'll be sure to stop by and say hello!

Hey Mark,

Long Time, Buddy.

I'm actually not working the show...just hangin', so...... I'll be coming and going at our Booth, I'm taking advantage of checking everything out this time.

See you soon.

Rob

Dude, I am rolling with lesb. peeps all week at NAMM. I am not joking. You will all get to hang with us. Bass Bash 2009, who is buying? I can't wait to try some new Nordy basses!!! ;)

Someone has to make sure to check out this crazy guy for me.

He's the inventor of Melodyne and of the coming soon update Direct Note Access. Basically you can change any note in any chord within a single track and edit it to what you want. It sounds like an amazing technology and they're supposed to open it up to the public at this NAMM!!! :bassist:
