Nano Cortex

Has anyone compared the sound quality of the cab & amp sim on Cortex or other similar products with that of the Two Notes Cab M? The Cab M doesn't have as many effects, I know, but just in terms of the main sound. Are there products that are notably superior in sound to the others?

Kind of a maddening review. He should have just had some sounds set up to roll instead of making the viewer watch him scroll through menus.

YouTube videos have erased 50 years of editing education.

A lot of YT video producers are inflating their run times with filler to get the total minutes up to please YT’s “recommended viewing” algorithm and to make more money from ad inserts. Videos under 10 minutes only get one ad insert until they’re deemed popular after getting a certain number of viewers.

Can’t say it’s something I’d be interested in. But they’re the ones with a hell of a lot more market research than most on here and I’d think they have more info on what the market wants or needs. So yeah. There’s some puzzling decisions that make me go hmmmm. But again, what do I know. Cool to see some already saying it would be a great fit for them. Never a shortage of outrage anywhere in the world these days haha

After my experience with the Darkglass Infinity, I say no damn way
I don’t know why these folks are so obsessed with no screens and running it from your iPad/iphone? Have they ever played a live gig.

Pass. Hard pass.

OK, so I really like this little Nano Cortex. It's no Quad Cortex, but for what it is it works really well. Form factor is amazingly small.
On my Quad Cortex my main bass tone is the combination of 3 different captures and a touch of Cortex built in reverb. With the Nano Cortex you can only have one capture at a time in the chain. That is a bummer.... but I just connected my Quad Cortex to the Nano Cortex and did a capture of my typical chain which includes multiple captures. The end result is one capture on the Nano Capture. You can't tell a difference between the Quad Cortex path containing the 3 individual captures and the single capture on the Nano. That's cool!

This means that the Nano Cortex is now outputting the exact same tone I typically use the Quad Cortex for.

Here's the capture I made if you are interested in giving it a try on your Nano. Neural DSP Technologies - Algorithmically Perfect
That out to FOH is all I need. Oh, and a compressor in front! :D Gain it up if you want a bit more growl.

I tried it out on the QC, and it sounded excellent. Reminded me a lot of my Handbox WB100 valve head.

Thanks!!! Not helping me avoid grabbing the Nano Cortex though.
