Narrow Head bass tone

I was wondering the same...great band, phenomenal bass tone. My guess off the top would be boosted mids for tube growl, which is always a good place to start, but if they are truly shoegaze, pedals are likely involved.

Looking through live shots of the band, they seem to either be using an older GK 400 or 800rb, a Peavey Mark4 or an acoustic 370 or something. Those all seem like pretty nice choices for punch and crunch. The song sounds most like a Mark IV

What kind of pedals would you assume the bassist is using, I am trying to get a similar tone myself
