I played my first Nash yesterday at a local shop. Have read about them, never had the opportunity to play one. I have played probably hundreds of jazz basses, but this one was warm, immediate, and played wonderfully. It was maybe a bit too heavily reliced for my tastes, but willing to overlook it.

Can anyone talk me out of it (besides my wife)? What am I missing?

No, we can't talk you out of buying a Nash. Just do it! Buy it and spread some of that mojo here on TB. I've got two of them on my wish list, if only my wife would let me......

I have two JB63's, one Sherwood Green VVT and the other kinda off white with matching headstock and stack Knobs. A PB55 burst and a PB58 Mary Kaye. These are all amazing looking as far as the relic which are hit or miss in my opinion. They all play and sound great. Get it...enjoy it!
