Wait, what? Stolen when? This bass has been for sale on Talkbass and reverb for a while now.
That probably sounds stupid. You know that, you're the one selling it. I didn't look at the username. I thought someone probably bought it and had it stolen. I'll keep an eye out. What happened?
I moved to Las Vegas, left some basses with a guy (I paid) to ship them as I sell them. Sold the Dingwall, but the guy I hired shipped the wrong bass to the buyer. Now the Dingwall is missing, presumed stolen. Just another entry in the constant disappointment that is humanity.
Unreal. Man, I'm so sorry. I made a post on the Dingwall group I help moderate. I'll let you know if anything pops up.
Also, you should call the police and file report so the serial number will get flagged at pawn shops.

not that it matters now that you've found it! but in my opinion the bass wasn't stolen, it was just a stupid mistake! in fact was two stupid mistakes ! 1. the idiot who shipped out the wrong Bass! 2. you! for trusting and hiring him!
