I saw the Trio tonight, at NightTown; if you get the chance don't miss it!

Nathan seems to be a living testament (get it? :smug:) to Aguilar gear. He played a David Gage Czech-Ease bass into all the Aguilar pedals (!), six in a row on his Pedaltrain Nano board into a Fishman Platinum Pro EQ preamp to a Tone Hammer 500 and two SL 112 cabinets. Sounded great. Especially, when he turned on the Octamizer, what an amazing upright bass sound. :bassist:

His playing was pretty ferocious, too, and it was a great complement to Alex's equally ferocious playing.

Hey Jeff thanks a lot man I appreciate that bro:) We played Iridium last night, was pretty sick, Skolnick broke a slide!!

Broke a slide?!?!?!? Wow. The double thumbing you do must have inspired Alex.

Glad to have gotten to see you guys the other night. I saw Alex back in December at NightTown with Stu, and with Jane Getter the following evening, so it was cool to see a third band with him. Your tone was great; I did notice you trying to bring your volume up; it could have come up a bit more, overall, but I had no trouble hearing and seeing what you were doing, we were at the first table, right in front of you.

I have a Tone Hammer 500 (great amp, I got it about 5 years ago), that I run through some cabinet that Don Oatman (LDS) made for me over the past few years.

The blue painter's tape helps to cut the brightness of those LEDs.

Here is a photo of me where those LEDs created a nice backlight to me!

Note: I looked up this thread because these guys are on tour again right now.
The full tour schedule is NOT posted yet on either Nathan's site NOR on Alex's site. Hopefully they will update their web sites with the dates so people can make plans! I plan to see them at this show:
