This is a ‘New Bass Build Day’!!!

Been awhile since I’ve had a Jazz... figgered I’d put one together- ordered some parts from theSTRATOSPHERE !!

Squier VM 70’s body (prefer the ‘wider’ pu spacing)
Squier VM loaded pg assembly
Fender ‘Deluxe’ J neck
Tort pg from ebay

Looking forward to assembly & (subsequent) mods!! ‘cause that’s what I do!

Parts arrived... found a nice tort guard on ebay! All parts fit together well- letting temp ‘adjust’ before soldering, stringing/setup.

Haha... go for it! It plays very nicely... pickups are (original) Squiers- I’ll probably keep them (for awhile) as they are pretty good!

I see it in my future. But I’m also jonesing for a Markbass combo, and as you know- they ain’t cheap!

Yup- I’ve had a gaggle of those (MB combos) myself! Keep savin’ & keep ur eyes out for a nice deal!!

Fender Vintage Hi-mass bridge installed... just ordered Hipshot tuners (use them on all my basses)
