I’ve been wanting an Ibanez Premium for some time now, but didn’t want to spend nearly twice as much for a new one, so I decided to go used, and found this 2013 SR1400E (w/Maple top) listed in “excellent” condition for $700 w/hardshell case & free shipping at Reverb. It only weighs 7lbs 4-5 oz, and is in very good shape, but when I plugged it in - it was making some really weird sounds while in active mode while turning the bass control - so I took all three pots out, gave them a shot of Deoxit & problem solved! The bass sounds fantastic now, and I’m a happy camper.
FWIW - I’ve never been much into the passive w/singlecoil sound, but this sounds great in passive mode!
