NBD - 19 year old Spector Goodness

Just got it today, did a quick setup, as the action was waaaaaay too low, notes were choking out everywhere. I have the same model from the same year in a 4 string, which I love. I had to add a 5.

2001 Spector Euro, all maple. EMG TW pickups, Aguilar OBP-1 preamp. Still needing tweaks on the setup, but it sounds all Spector. I'm a fan of their piano-like clarity. I wish the flame was more visible through the dark finish, but I really like the finish anyway. Eager to put it through some paces Sunday.

Thanks! It's a color with a unique look. In some lights, it's very purple. In a different light, it's unmistakably blue.

It's got d'addario pro steels on it now (I think), and they sound good, but I think I'm going to swap to some nps hex core SIT strings this afternoon. It's got a pretty zingy top end I'll try to tame a bit.
