Gorgeous bass! It makes me curious, though. LPB isn't a poly colour offered on American Standard Fenders. So, are they bringing LPB bodies over from Ensenada, or are they doing special runs where they paint these bodies? It was my understanding that all of the parts on the ADE basses were available on other American Fender models. If that's the case, LPB doesn't make sense...so where are they getting them??I knew it was going to look great but when I opened the case and saw it it floored me!
I just can't get over how fantastic it looks- pictures can't do it justice.
May hands were actually shaking when I picked it up.
After a good preliminary onceover, the neck, fretwork and paint all looks/feels great- very happy here.
Don't you just love the aged white pearloid pickguard against the LPB- and the rosewood neck WOW!
Thank you Fender for getting it to me in only 38 days- great job!
I think I'm good with as far as GAS goes.

It was ordered from the Design website.Nice! Was that covergirl straight off the rack, or did you go through the design experience for it?
It was ordered from the Design website.
HA! Never really thought about that- it is pretty sturdy though.![]()
Lets see, a 410 on top of a milk crate on a dolly with a lava lamp

You missed my point...Special order through the Fender Design Experience webs site.
You missed my point...
Right...but why is there no upcharge for it if they're shooting a colour solely for this series? No other US gets a poly LPB finish...the Ensenada MIM Standards do, though.String-thru body on his bass, so my take is that they painted it in Corona.
