Yeah I mean these nitro finishes age real quick on their own. It’s almost impossible to find any pbass in stock without waiting a year to have one made at the custom shop. This one being a heavy relic to me if you didn’t see the custom shop logo it actually looks like the real deal.
Looks like UPS really beat up your bass, bummer! Send it to me, I’ll take it off your hands.

That really looks like the real deal! How's the neck feel? I bet your hand just falls into place! The only thing missing is the classic cigarette burn on the headstock...

Oops, I don't know what's happening to me today. Sorry about that.
The neck is the whole reason I was after a early 60’s pbass. The 1.75” and still some what slim 0.79” first fret to the 0.99” 12th taper just feels so good
That’s what I was thinking. They did a good job with that one. Even the insides looked funky and old.Congrats!!
A vast majority of the Relics look overly obvious to me, with wear marks that simply don't make any sense. Your's is one of the few that actually looks authentic-- AND it will probably be far more dependable than the vintage model it's inspired by

Yes even under the pickguard it looks gross. I like how you can see the fade line from the pickguard when it’s off.

Jonday, I generally dislike relics, but I have to tell you that yours is stunning! Most relics look worn in the wrong way in the wrong places. Yours just looks like a really old bass that's been through the wars. It's made me change my opinion of relics. Thanks so much for posting.

Thanks guys. Like I mentioned earlier I’m not a huge fan of heavy relics. I like the closet classic, journeyman relic stuff just because it looks more convincing. I kept going back to this one for probably a few weeks on the long and McQuade website because it was the actual bass pictured and it was in stock. Then looking through reverb and just road warriors on google this one really did look convincing.
