NBD 60 pbass relic!!

I was after a 60’s pbass for some time now. Gave up on finding a real vintage pbass so a reissue will do. I found a 60’s American original reissue that did the trick. I was done my hunt. Well scrolling my guitar shops this one popped up. I’m not a huge fan of the heavy relic but damn I could not stop looking at it. So the AO 60’s pbass was sold along with my AO 60’s jazz bass. Then I pulled the trigger on this one.

Oh I didn’t even see him in the picture! He was mad because he didn’t get his rub down as soon as I got in the door, like every other day. I had to check this out right away!

Beautiful bass! I owned a real 65 P bass like that many years ago and its with someone else now. That looks like mine except the one i had was even worse for wear with gouges cuts and marks! Rock on and enjoy!

A vast majority of the Relics look overly obvious to me, with wear marks that simply don't make any sense. Your's is one of the few that actually looks authentic-- AND it will probably be far more dependable than the vintage model it's inspired by

Hey guys thanks so much. This one is super light compared to the AO 60’s pbass. Also it has a more mellow pickup. The AO was great but had a huge amount of output. I had to lower the pickup way down so it wouldn’t distort my amp. This one just has the deep fat mellow tone you’d expect from a pbass. I put on La Bella’s and it’s just perfect
