Whenever there are few to no gigs I get into shopping mode, and boy did I do a thing!
Body refin and back of neck overspray, but otherwise all original! Always wanted a 63 and have owned a few AVRI or American Original Basses but ain’t nothing like the real thing, baby! Refin is super well done, and while I’d have loved to have an original finish, couldn’t make it up into the 5 figure range they command. I’m incredibly happy with the work done and having the original parts is something special! I believe the ground wire to the bridge has been changed to a cloth one as well, not sure that’s a huge boon for me. Got a great price on today’s market thanks to a wonderful TBer. Can’t beat this marketplace.
