I had the same bass and after one gig, got rid of it. I hope either you have strong shoulders and a strong back or a boat in need of an anchor. I noticed that because I wear my basses just a bit high, that the way the RD Artist is designed, playing in the lower register, called for orangutan arms.

Yup. All the Moog stuff removed and rewired passive like a jazz bass: Vol, Vol, Tone.
