Very nice! And that 79 looks really clean
it's really clean, barely a scratch... original case is in perfect condition, it plays wonderfully!
love the fretless but they both look great --- what a score! congratulations on both of your new instruments!

They bouth look fine and probably sound, too, but i liked the fretless with fretlines more. Anyway - You knew what You where buying, so - let it be !!!

I've made great friends over 30 years of playing bass. I'm blessed because of it.
I had a chance some years ago to get a fretless Ray for $800 and waited too long. Arghh!
OK, looks like pads on the photo of the black one. You can get window foam at Lowe's or Home Depot that works perfect. That's what EB recommended when I asked for mine.
