Second, I'm all for changing the pickguard (plain white? black pearl?). But for the love of Pete, put the original up your garage wall or something. That's way too geeky horror cheeseball to throw out.

Nice score indeed. I picked up one from a local pawn shop recently that needed some work for about $380. I slapped an old bridge from one of my other SUB's and put in a new battery and the thing sounds golden; these things are indestructible.

Disagree with most - the PG stays. It may keep you safe after the zombie apocalypse. You'll have to wear the bass 24/7, but no zombie in his right mind is going to mess with that bada$$ PG.
