So, I happened to come across a 2019 American Pro P Bass on a local(ish) Craigslist posting. I didn’t need another P Bass since I already have a 2012 American Standard and am in the process of building a parts P. But, the deal was too good to pass up! I figured I could snag it up and put it out there for trade for something new and exciting that I don’t already have on hand.

Here’s the problem:

The damn thing is awesome.

I’ve never been a fan of black basses. Or the mint guard on the American Pros. But this thing absolutely rips! It’s significantly lighter than my other P and it’s one of the fastest non J bass fender necks I’ve played. And wouldn’t you not know it the mint on black with a rosewood neck looks so great in person. Go figure!

I guess I’ll just have to enjoy it for a while. Oh well

I have an Am Vintage Hot Rod Fender with the same color scheme, I too like the mint pickguard, this picture is lousy though. It's got a new pickguard now and it was hell trying to find the correct one.
