NBD Active 5 Squier Content

A follow up: last night I was able to give it good run though, it's really fun. I don't have a ton of experience with active electronics but will say I really enjoyed it.

Pick-ups are high output ceramic hum-buckers I was able to get the classic J bass tone and then panning the pickup to the neck position also gives me the P tone albeit with a more polished sound, it will give articulate highs and thunderous lows that are surprisingly punchy and clear.

Whether you are into slap or not I can say this bass really shines in that realm. It was a surprise to hear the very bright piano like tones available then back off the tone knob for more muted sound. This bass covers alot of ground!

Thanks Killing Floor will do! And I have seen your Custom Shop
How you keepin the finish clean on that satin black, micro fiber?
Seems to LOVE finger prints...
Yes, just a micro cloth. I haven't used any type of cleaner. It's holding up pretty well.

Anyway, that bass with the blocks and black hardware looks rockin' and I hope it sounds that way too.
