NBD - Again

After waiting since May for the order from MF, I noticed CME had this in stock, so I cancelled the MF order and got it now! Two days later, it's here:

My first Sire - I really liked the look when I saw this, plus I wanted to try a short scale passive with a maple FB. It weighs 8.3 pounds, so not light for a 30" scale, but it balances beautifully, and those rolled fingerboard edges?

They are; you can't really tell from my crappy pics, but the body is shaped very much like the Fender Aerodyne Jazz basses. There is a creme or light blond binding around the top edge as well. Here's a stock photo:

I may just have to have one of those too. I gotta start figuring out which one(s) need to go to make room for my bad habit. Since joining TB in 2015, I went from 3 basses to 18 in just 6 years. Ouch!
