Hello! I've been reading a lot of posts on TB but didn't have anything worth posting myself until now. I was given this new Fender Standard P Bass in Ocean Turquoise by my wonderful fiance - totally unexpected surprise!!! I'm marrying quite the perfect lady (IMO):)! Standard Fender MIM specs, just limited edition color (pic doesn't do it justice). Sounds and plays great :bassist:. Maple fret board is something different for me - should complete my collection (maybe);).

Welcome to Talkbass, where every new bass is "the best bass I've ever played!"
Seriously though, just bought a P bass myself but damn, that looks great, especially with the black pickguard and maple fretboard...and I'm not just saying it because my new Precicion is blue with a black pickguard and maple fretboard, either!

Thanks! It has a Tort Shell guard actually, but is a nice dark color. I dig the blue w/black p guard look as well.
