NBD Atelier Z

Hi,its looking great bass!
I am thinking to give an order too,but i stayed between two models
M265 or DAL-5,i guess yours is DAL model.
Is there any one can know what's the diffirence between ash top/alder body and only ash body?(as a sound?)

Difficult to say as pieces of ash and alder vary so much. The DAL is half and half which is a good compromise, and allows chambering of course.

I have actually now sold this bass as I found a Celinder J-Update which I have been after for years. If anything it shows how good the Atelier Z was; it stacked up against the Celinder in every way except I was able to get a lower action on the Celinder.

These nice photos I found o. Your thread aren’t helping @ped - can I justify a 60s spacing will Lee metro and a 70s spacing AtelierZ?
