The best part of this new fiddle is about a month ago when I started gassing for it, I showed the Reverb listing to my wife...
Me: What do you think?
Her: It could be none more black!
Me: Dam I love you!!

That's incredible!
One of my biggest mistakes was selling my Bacchus Woodline three or four years ago, especially since you don't see too many of them over here, but I recently replaced it with a Woodline-Handcrafted-Flame Tamo made in Japan model that puts to shame every Fender Jazz bass I've ever owned/played.
Bacchus is still somewhat of a secret in the bass world, but maybe that's a good thing.
Other than that, there's no doubting their quality...not to mention, they have more finish options than any other company and that alone puts them on the top rung.
(Hey, why no black strings?)
