Finally put my hands on a Bassmods 5er. Looked really hot and seemed very well built. Didn't even plug it in though because as soon as I picked it up the weight was an immediate disqualification.

I was so pleased with the Natural one I got used , I decided to get a new Blue one as a backup.
$1,100 spent and easily one of the best basses I've owned especially when considering value for dollar.
The new one weighed in at 9.4 lbs and my first one at 9.6.
Pickups: bassmods rej
Preamp: eq3
String Gauges: 45-130 labella
Plek Action: low
