I just got my first BassMods instrument. I’ve played a couple through the years and was always surprised at how good they feel and sound, especially considering the cost.

I haven’t played a gig with this one yet (I got it last night) but it immediately felt and sounded pretty awesome.

Ash body w/ a spalted maple top. Maple fretboard w/ birdseye maple fretboard. Bartolini B-Axis pups and a JohnEast pre.

I’m pretty excited to put this bass to work. What are y’all’s opinions on these basses?

They can be heavy . Other than that, they usually look and sound great. The Urban Gospel players put them on the map.

It is on the heavier side. Not too bad though. I mostly sit when I play so it won’t be a problem for me.
