Gloomy day, so didn't have good lighting to capture the blue of this bass. It looks so much better in person! Gorgeous, I love how the pickups match the fingerboard. My only complaint...I am a birdseye maple fan and I always order it on my Carvin builds... I must have forgotten this time even after Steve sent me the specs to double check :crying: Really my first five string, and with the wider string spacing I feel at home. The SB electronics simply ROCK and nail that JB sound in my head. This bas has sustain, I am loving it! :bassist:

Oh I bet the SB4000 is great as well! The B50 has pretty much the same as a SB5k if you upgrade to active electronics.

I have to admit that I am very happy with it! Can't stop playing it!

Very nice, I've been debating one of these since they first came out. The Icon headstock looks awesome with that body, glad to see someone finally did it!

Did they change the knob positions on these a little bit? Last time I looked they were in a straight line, looks like yours follow the body contour better, which looks just great.

I'd REALLY like to see someone try a series/parallel switch with these pickups to see how ballsy they can sound.

Krovx.

Is that the Translucent Pearl Blue or the Translucent Sapphire Blue?

Translucent Sapphire Blue, but the pics don't do a good job showing what it looks like in person, can't wait for some outdoor pics!

Not sure what the typical knob arrangement is but it is curved a bit, knobs kind of feels like a EBMM arrangement. It has the SB preamp with the passive tone knob which is just amazing IMO.
