10/10 not much more to say! Except I'll be adding a nice, dark, Spitfire guard as the icing on the cake.

Yea this one is too red. Can’t wait for it!!!Beautiful. The Spitfire will definitely be worth it.
Well, here's my 1960. The body is an Oly white refin but it still has it's original tort guard. As you can see it's definitely red. Many Fenders from the early 60's had reddish tort guards on them. I think the OP's bass is period correct as far as the PG is concerned.Yea this one is too red. Can’t wait for it!!!
A real beauty and FWIW I love that PG it's very period correct. That neck wood is awesome. Very nice bass.View attachment 7518952

It's a store that commissions custom shop instruments. These ones have a 10" radius fretboard. What’s Wildwood 10 ?. The grain’s a little wide but perfectly quartersawn.
Interesting, 10” is a more modern touch than the 7.25” that puts some people off. It's a store that commissions custom shop instruments. These ones have a 10" radius fretboard.

Wildwood 10 1962 Precision Bass - NOS
The Perfect 10 Years ago, we approached our friends at the Fender Custom Shop with a proposal: would they build us basses that combined the mojo of a true-to-vintage reissue with modern handfeel and comfy modern ergonomics? They were enthused about the idea, and the Wildwood 10 was born. Thanks...wildwoodguitars.com
From your picture, i love how the brown tort match quite nice with the dark fretboard.View attachment 7518952
