I got this last week off Reverb. Just like the one mom bought for me from the Sears catalog in the late 80’s. It needed a new nut, knobs, and a couple of washers for the tuners. I got it cleaned up and dialed in last night. It sure brings back the memories, and does a surprisingly good P bass imitation with the neck pickup soloed.

I begged my parents for one of those in the mid 80's. I had huge Dean GAS back in the day.

Does it sound as good as you remember?

Dude! I bought one of these last year... Same story; Drooled over the ones in the Sears catalog, Mom & Dad couldn't be persuaded no matter how hard I tried.

A surprisingly great sounding & playing light weight bass.

I wanted one of those so bad back in the day. My local shop had one and I drooled over it for quite a while, but I was newly married with a child on the way and it just wasn't to be. Congrats on the cool find!
