NBD EBMM flawless 2007 Sterling HH4

Unexpected consequence, or surprising benefit of purchasing this…. it’s causing me to sell all my other active basses.

I absolutely love the tone, playability, versatility, fit and finish of this Ernie Ball bass.

Yes, there were cheaper ones out there, but I really wanted an unmolested Ernie Ball.

I’ve never held one of these basses in my hand before purchasing online.

I only went by the knowledge I’ve learned from our fellow TBer’s and videos.

I will cherish this beautiful 2007 Ernie Ball Music Man Sterling HH4 Honey Burst along with my passive 2018 Fender Limited Edition Lightweight Ash American Professional Jazz Bass Sienna Sunburst and passive 1985 Gibson Explorer bass.

Three perfect basses ‘til the end of days……

Thank you fellow TBer’s for all your shared knowledge and expertise!!!!

Wow quite a pair! Looks so good together!

Yea, there's nothing like a EBMM. I recently got a 2006 Stingray and I absolutely love everything about it! Like you said, there were cheaper options (even the newer Stingray Special) but I wanted a natural/maple USA Stingray and it also had to be under 9 lbs. Took a LONG time to find it but I did and I don't regret the $2200 I had to pay.

Yes, I agree with you wholeheartedly. It’s just one of those moments in life where everything is just so satisfying. I’m playing it all the time and I can’t put it down. And for that reason it is worth its weight in gold.
I came in around the exact same amount as you paid. Absolutely no regrets.
But before I had that baby in my hands, I was slightly ambivalent that I may have gone over my head.
Thankfully, it was everything I hoped for, and more pure satisfaction 100%!!!

Yea, these basses went up a lot lately. Just like Real Estate, not the best time to buy haha!

I had a Joe Dart Sterling for a while, I really regret selling it. I sold it to fund the Stingray, which is bittersweet. I love that Sterling body shape and neck! I will pull the trigger on the next nice Classic Sterling that I see.

I modded it to look more like a regular Sterling:

Congratulations on your first MusicMan.
That is a real beauty and a sought after discontinued finish.
It might not be your last as they can be quite addictive.
