Well, I went to trade in a pedal for a new one and this happened. Girlfriend got to do the layout of all the stickers I had lying around, so we’ll pretend that made her happy and offset having to wait as the bass got a restring & setup . . .

Had to take another look, yo that bass looks amazing I am a fan. High mass bridge, clay dots, rolled edges and that neck looks super comfortable, it's a nice choice and a solid investment.

Thanks! I LOVE the clay dots and the grain got me. I can’t tell if it’s psychosomatic but the neck feels really fast. It sounds great w/ these Custom Shop pickups.

Congrats from another..Someone else recently just got one and posted it. That makes at least three we know of on this fourm. Is that a club yet? EnjoyView attachment 4410881

Hell yeah we’re a club! I’m just resisting messing w/ the setup right now.
I think I need more relief but I should probably let the strings settle in. Esp. since it’s gone from a temp-controlled store to my hovel, haha.

I just picked this one up yesterday. Looks like I got your old bass… wood grain matches.

Oh awesome!!!! It was such a killer bass. Just didn’t get enough play time, and I’ve actually moved back to playing P’s again. (I’m 36. A P is the longest I played one bass exclusively, from age 18-28. I took a loooong break and ended up coming back to them.)

Where was the Jazz at?

Congrats! That is a beautiful bass and agree with others that they did a great job on the design/features. I got to play one of these a little bit ago on a whim. Wasn't looking for this model/brand but I wanted to check it out for sh!ts and giggles. Man did that bass fell and play great. I appreciated the custom shop pickups and the medium jumbo frets. The bass felt solid and the neck appeared to be a good one with no dead spots that I could detect. I thought about that one for a while and decided to go in a different direction. Love the finish looks and the name. Gold hardware is not usually my first choice but on this finish I think it looks great.
