They did make a 5 string version, though apparently hard to find.

The 5 string version has 2 jazz pickups not a pj configuration though i have heard of an ultra rare pj version... I have looked pretty hard but I have never seen one. Or at least I haven’t since it was pointed out to me that they all mostly have j bass pickups. I’m sure someone has one around here.

Interestingly, mine does not have the "strat" plug receptacle.

That's a "Non-Export" Aerodyne Deluxe, or an "AJB-D" model. The Strat-jack-wearing Aerodynes are "Export Editions" and are shipped all over the world from Japan. Any other variant is made solely for the Japanese market and has to be imported.

Based upon my research, they only made the AJB-V in a J/J configuration. If it was a true 'Dyne, it was likely modified. Otherwise, it could've been something inspired by and built to mimic that awesome design.
