I played the paisley version of this once & hesitated about buying it. Decided the next day to go buy it, it was gone. Haven't seen once in person since.. a stupid decision on my part!

These are really well playing & sounding basses. Congrats.

Nicely done! I searched for a while to find both of mine. Paisley and Flower. The Flower is stock. The Paisley has a Lollar replacement pickup. Both punch through and look pretty cool onstage as well!

Im old enough to remember when they originally put out the flowered and paisley Telecasters and Telecaster basses in 1968. Kenny Rogers played one on T.V. with his Band playing "I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in. I believe it was on the Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour so psychedelic

Yeah the basses really are not easy to find. I checked here and eBay and reverb on a reg basis to find this one lol...

Sounds like the band is finally playing a live show this Sat. (Outdoors party) so after almost 5 months of not playing out I can’t wait to take her along !

It really doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. It's you who has to play them, and you might as well get what you like. You've built yourself up quite a nice little collection.

One thing I don't get, though, is how come you never see flower or paisley on any other Fender basses except the old school single coil 50's style P's? How come you never see them on split coil Precisions or Jazz basses?

Agree x2. I have seen a few CS Jazz basses in Paisley. Just did a search on Reverb and looks as if there's a CIJ black paisley Jazz coming out. Bound neck and block inlays... Pretty spectacular.

Nah - you weren't wrong. Big difference between a production run vs. how the CS has a one-off or limited run for basically anything. I would absolutely love to see a PJ config in pink paisley. Until then, I will await the next time I can slay the crowd at my favorite arena with a pink paisley P bass. "slay" means play without messing up. "crowd" is defined by a ratio of 1:2 bassisteople watching. "arena" is the coffee shop that hosts punk bands.
