NBD!!!! Fender Blue Flower!!!

It really doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. It's you who has to play them, and you might as well get what you like. You've built yourself up quite a nice little collection.

One thing I don't get, though, is how come you never see flower or paisley on any other Fender basses except the old school single coil 50's style P's? How come you never see them on split coil Precisions or Jazz basses?
Good point! I mean they did telecasters and Strats and even Mustangs etc.
And when they did the most recent reissue of the telecasters and Strats they never did the bass again ...wonder why?

If memory serves, these finishes coincided with the re-introduction of the first-generation P as the "Telecaster Bass," which also coincided with the zenith of "flower power": Cream using psychedelic-painted guitars, "Yellow Submarine," Eye magazine and all that. Putting these finishes on Ps and Js would have weakened the marketing impact of the new Ts.

Ya, I'm sure there's always a money-related thing involved. But still...

Indiana wants me, but I haven't got the pence to afford the trip.
the only things great things about indiana is we got rid of our Loonie. and the beer and firepower aren't socalized.. as far as I know the only nicer people than folks from INDY are the maple leafs. Eh mate.. I need to come up there to see stampede wrestling and some puck handling.. so many cliches.. but I'm Corny naturally.. come down we'll have a pint/quart of good stuff..

Thanks to a TalkBass Bro I got a bass I’ve been after for awhile! :hyper::hyper::hyper:

I love this reissue!
And it goes nicely with my paisley bass and guitars and my blue flower Stratacoustic!
cool congrats! im always looking for ways to customize my basses even more, checking out your photos again..., the head stock needs a flower arrangement( seems a lil bare) a sticker or a daisy
a small artificial bouquet something they sell at Michaels(a craft store) would be nice, idk.
