I think there's a couple of thousands difference, but less noticeable in person. The CS pickup fits in the opening better than the dimarzio.

I've got a 2011 Closet Classic P Pro which yours looks like a custom variation on and my J pup routing gives that illusion too - because the pup is slightly raised higher on the DG strings. Only slightly, but enough to create that little shadow in pix.
Its based on the 2012 Precision Pro; the neck is similar to the Custom Classic Jazz (with precision decal) pearl block and white binding. The colour is the Candy Tangerine, not metallic, but looks like smaller metallic flakes in the paint.

Until now, I've never been a fan of blocked necks... your bass has changed me. That is one gorgeous instrument you've got there.
