NBD! (Fender Precision Content)

So, Finally, I get to participate in a NBD post. So, I was at guitar center, when I saw this used Fender Precision for $250. I instantly fell in love with the thing. So, today, I was back today, buying my girlfriend a Ukulele, and so I picked it up. I know the rule, Pics or it doesnt exist, so here it goes.

On a funny note, apparently this bass came in as a trade in...which was used to buy a 7 String Conklin. Another person pulling a JT I was also able to finagle with the guy. The uke was $50 and the bass was $250...I only had $310. So, I talked to the guy there and I was able to get the uke, the bass, a warranty on the uke, uke strings and a pick all for $309.92. Happy high school graduation to me. So, what's the opinion? Keep the PG as is, or throw a black one on it?

Looks a cracker to me... I'd put a tort guard on there, I just love white/tort, with thumbrest and covers of course, but that's a nice guard.

It's a 2003 or 2004. So, it's already 6 or 7 years old.

I told her to smile, and that's what she gave me. I offered to teach her bass, but she was attached to the "Cute little guitar" (BTW, she is a very smart girl, and does have musical talent.)

Nice find man! I would be torn between a black PG or a tort PG... The one on it is cool as it is sort of a seashell look! But would favor the black or tort more..
