Thanks guys for the kind words. It's almost holidays again (Chinese New Year) and I won't be able to play her for the coming week or so:bawl:

But after I'm back home, I'll make sure to take some time and take nicer pictures, with real camera's.

I'll also need to figure out how best to record the thing. Just bought one of those KORG Pandora Mini's but the sound quanlity is quite dubious to say the least, will try to record it and see what happens.:bassist:

I have to say that's the most beautiful bass here on TB that I've seen, and by far the cleanest example of a 59 precision I have seen anywhere. Do you know if the finish is original?

Thanks! And yes, everything is original, in fact I also have all the case candy and the matching hang tag:hyper:

It was love at first sight, but I'm going have to be sober for the rest of year, you know what I mean, don't want to push the missus over the edge:hiding:

Yes I do. Not a Fender exactly but a John Kallas 57 RI precision. He is a former Fender employee and make's one hell of a bass. Mine has a few deference's with the 1.5 width neck and heavier frets. I'm not sure what number frets but they are not the vintage style. It's currently string with Thomastik-Infeld JR344 Jazz Nickel Round Wound's.

Yeah, I ain't gonna come close to her with a screwdriver, anything I do (except playing) will probably half her value instantly!

Regarding your comment, comparing this blond finish and the one on my 10 year old relic start, it seems that the real Closet Classic finish is more sunk into the wood, in the picture you can see the grain of the wood, in real you can actually feel it trough touch, whereas the costume shop relic's finish is just flat, checked, but not sunk in.
