Been wanting this for ages now. finally got it Sunday night.
brand new 2015 MIM Fender Standard Precision.
Arctic white with Maple fretboard.

A few adjustments: I added a Fender 60s vintage style Tort pickguard (model#: 0992021000) which is a perfect fit (and also has holes for a tugbar and pickup cover which I may add later).
and some Loxx Strap locks

Plays great, and is super bright sounding.

The Amp behind it is a UK made Ashdown Little Bastard LB-30 head with 212 MAG-SLIM Cab

The new MIM's are awesome, I wasnt much of a fan of the 90's early 2000's ones but id like a newer one.

I agree. I owned a '98 Jazz that was just awful. Cheap controls, a perpetually rattling A string, noisy electricals, and gritty tuners. Every inch felt cheap. But the current MIM's I've played have been terrific -- to the point I'd question spending the extra money for an MIA.

OP -- well bought and I hope you enjoy it for a long time.
